Helping Individuals Access Mental Health Support
Bridge to Mental Health Foundation provides charitable assistance, education, outreach, and resource support to help individuals and families overcome barriers to mental health care.
Assistance is based on demonstrated need, program eligibility requirements, available funding, and the availability of participating mental health providers.
Need-Based Mental Health Vouchers
The Foundation may provide need-based vouchers or related financial assistance to help eligible individuals obtain approved mental health services.

Depending on available resources and program guidelines, assistance may be used toward:
- Mental health evaluations
- Individual counseling
- Family or relationship counseling
- Other approved outpatient mental health treatment services
Vouchers are not cash payments. Approved assistance is generally coordinated directly with participating providers or service organizations.
Mental Health Resource Navigation
Finding the right mental health resource can be difficult. We help individuals identify available services and understand possible next steps for obtaining support.
Resource navigation may include:
- Information about counseling and evaluation services
- Referrals to participating or community-based providers
- Guidance regarding charitable assistance programs
- Connections to local mental health and community resources
- Information about crisis and emergency support services
Resource navigation does not replace an evaluation, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or other service provided by a licensed mental health professional.
Community Mental Health Education
We provide educational information and community-based programming that promote mental health awareness and informed help-seeking.
Educational activities may address:
- Recognizing common mental health concerns
- Understanding the benefits of counseling
- Reducing mental health stigma
- Supporting children, adults, and families
- Identifying signs that professional assistance may be needed
- Locating appropriate mental health and crisis resources
Programs may be delivered through workshops, presentations, digital resources, community events, and collaborative partnerships.
Mental Health Outreach and Awareness
Our outreach initiatives are designed to bring accurate mental health information into the community and encourage people to seek assistance without shame or fear.
Outreach efforts may include:
- Mental health awareness campaigns
- Community events
- Educational materials
- Social media education
- Partnerships with schools, churches, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations
- Information about available assistance and treatment resources
Community Partnerships
Improving access to mental health care requires collaboration. We seek partnerships with licensed providers, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, businesses, community groups, and other nonprofit organizations.
Partnership opportunities may include:
- Accepting Foundation-sponsored vouchers
- Hosting mental health education programs
- Supporting outreach events
- Sponsoring charitable assistance
- Providing professional or community resources
- Referring potentially eligible individuals to the Foundation
